Maintain your website yourself:

One of the primal fears of most people desiring a web presence is that of the ongoing high maintenance costs. Many are tired of depending on their webmasters to update a given page of the website or add a new one. The prime reason for such maintenance costs and dependency is that they do not have the technical know-how of using HTML tags, File transfer (FTP) softwares or image manipulation softwares such as Adobe Photoshop.

There have been expensive options of overcoming such hurdles and maintaining your websites yourself. These are popularly called Content management systems. Such systems define a format for the sections and pages of your website and then provide you a form to enter the relevant content. However, to change the format of these sections you require your webmaster again.
